Terms & Conditions

While the Casual and VIP packages cover standard servicing, it must be clearly stated that extra charges may apply if:

•⁠  ⁠The pool is green or in poor condition

•⁠  ⁠Extra time is required due to the state of the pool or equipment

•⁠  ⁠Chemicals are required to treat, clean, or balance the water to restore it to a healthy, safe, and enjoyable standard

This ensures everything is transparent and allows the pool to be brought back to proper condition when it requires more than a standard service.

•⁠  ⁠Troubleshooting neglected or faulty equipment

•⁠  ⁠Extended brushing, scooping, or filtration cycles

All extra time is charged at the current hourly or call‑out rate.

4.⁠ ⁠Chemicals & Treatment Charges

Chemicals required to restore, treat, or balance the water are not included in standard service packages unless explicitly stated.

Charges apply for:

•⁠  ⁠Shock treatments

•⁠  ⁠Algaecides

•⁠  ⁠Clarifiers

•⁠  ⁠pH adjustment products

•⁠  ⁠Salt, stabiliser, calcium, or any other balancing agents

These charges will appear as separate line items on the invoice.

5.⁠ ⁠Green Pool & Recovery Work

Green pool recovery is not included in any standard service package.

Recovery work may require:

•⁠  ⁠Multiple visits

•⁠  ⁠High chemical usage

•⁠  ⁠Extended filtration

•⁠  ⁠Waste vacuuming

•⁠  ⁠Equipment cleaning or replacement

Pricing will depend on the severity of the pool condition and will be communicated as clearly as possible before work begins.

6.⁠ ⁠Equipment Condition & Repairs

If equipment is faulty, unsafe, or not functioning correctly, Splish Splash Pool Solutions may:

•⁠  ⁠Recommend repairs or replacement

•⁠  ⁠Refuse to operate unsafe equipment

•⁠  ⁠Charge for time spent diagnosing issues

All equipment repairs or installations will be quoted separately.

7.⁠ ⁠Access to Property

If access is not available at the scheduled service time (locked gate, dog in yard, construction, etc.), a call‑out fee may apply.

8.⁠ ⁠Weather & Safety

Services may be postponed or modified due to unsafe weather conditions (lightning, storms, extreme winds).

Splish Splash Pool Solutions will reschedule as soon as practical.

9.⁠ ⁠Payment Terms – 14 Days

All invoices issued by Splish Splash Pool Solutions Pty Ltd are strictly 14 days from the invoice date.

Late or unpaid invoices may result in:

•⁠  ⁠Suspension of services

•⁠  ⁠Late fees

•⁠  ⁠Referral to a debt recovery agency (costs payable by the client)

10.⁠ ⁠Disputes

Any invoice concerns must be raised within 7 days of the invoice date. If no dispute is raised within this period, the invoice is deemed accepted.

11.⁠ ⁠Cancellations

Cancellations within 24 hours of a scheduled service may incur a call‑out fee. Missed access also incurs a call‑out fee.

12.⁠ ⁠Liability

Splish Splash Pool Solutions is not responsible for:

•⁠  ⁠Pre‑existing equipment faults

•⁠  ⁠Structural issues with the pool

•⁠  ⁠Damage caused by neglected maintenance

•⁠  ⁠Water quality issues arising from client inaction between visits

All care is taken, but responsibility for ongoing pool health remains shared between the client and the service provider.

13. Quote Validity

All quotes issued by Splish Splash Pool Solutions Pty Ltd are valid for 14 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Pricing may change after this period due to supplier costs, chemical pricing, or equipment availability.

14. Deposit Requirements

For all quoted works over $1,000, a 50% deposit is required before any work can commence.
This includes ordering parts, booking labour, or scheduling the job.
The remaining balance is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

15. Scope of Work

Quotes are based on the information available at the time of inspection.
If unforeseen issues arise — such as hidden faults, plumbing issues, structural problems, or extra labour requirements — Splish Splash Pool Solutions reserves the right to revise the quote.
Revised pricing will be communicated before proceeding.

16. Pool & Equipment Condition

Quotes assume the pool and equipment are in reasonable working order unless otherwise stated.
If the pool has been neglected, is green, or equipment has not been maintained for an extended period, extra charges may apply for:

  • Labour

  • Chemicals

  • Additional visits

  • Equipment repairs or replacement

These items will be added to the final invoice if not included in the original quote.

17. Chemicals & Materials

Quotes include only the chemicals and materials specifically listed.
Any chemicals required to restore water quality, treat algae, or balance the pool will be charged separately if not included in the quote.

18. Equipment & Parts

If equipment needs to be ordered, the deposit (where applicable) covers procurement.
Manufacturer warranties apply to equipment supplied and installed by Splish Splash Pool Solutions.
Warranty does not cover misuse, lack of maintenance, water chemistry neglect, or external damage.

19. Access Requirements

Quotes assume clear and safe access to the pool area.
If access is restricted (locked gates, dogs, construction, etc.), additional call‑out or labour fees may apply.

20. Client‑Requested Changes

Any changes to the quoted work requested by the client must be approved in writing.
Variations may affect pricing and completion time.

21. Cancellations

If a client cancels a booked job after parts have been ordered or labour has been allocated, Splish Splash Pool Solutions may retain part or all of the deposit to cover costs incurred.

22. Payment Terms

All invoices are strictly 14 days from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Late payments may result in service suspension, late fees, or referral to a debt recovery agency (costs payable by the client).
